The vast majority of jobs will specify an essential qualification as part of the job description.These are, most often, in line with Government and Ofsted Quality Standards. Please be aware that if you choose to apply for a job for which you do not hold the relevant qualifications, this unless you are waiting on results, is likely to prohibit you being shortlisted for interview. If you would like more information on gaining accredited childcare qualifications please use the Training link above.

Occasionally we advertise apprentice-type positions that are ideal for candidates with no childcare qualifications. In these instances, the setting is most likely to be an accredited training provider, enabling you to learn 'on the job' in house. When these positions do arise they are often very popular so an early application is recommended!
